Aircraft engineering
I am now on my 3rd year as a full time race mechanic.
I started my engineering life as an Aircraft technician with a mechanical bias in the Royal Air Force, working on Fast jets, Battlefield helicopters, and Spy planes.
Career Change
Race Mechanic
For the 2023 season I switched direction, and took on LMP3 with Nielsen Racing, along with a season of GB3.
Cracking on
Bigger things
In 2024 I switched from GB3, to GT3 with Optimum motorsport, competing in GT World Challenge, and British GT on the Mclaren 720SGT3.
Whilst continuing and now Number oneing with Nielsen Racing on LMP3 and JSP4 Ligiers.
2025
In 2025 I have no intention of slowing down, I will be NO1 mechanic on the Simpson Motorsport Audi R8 GT3LMS. and I'll also be back in ELMS with JMW Motorsport on their Ferrari 296 GT3.
